Healing A Relationship

We enter into a relationship because we see a virtue in that other soul that we think we don't have. And so then their virtues mix with my virtues to make a perfect, complete couple. I believe I am only whole when I am with the other person.
When a soul leaves you there seems to be a hole where they once resided. This hole is only the absence of their virtue in your life. However, the truth is, you cannot see the virtue in another without that same virtue existing within you. It is simply hidden beneath a layer of mud and dirt, never used in many years. Once the relationship is no longer with you, it gives you the opportunity to go looking for that virtue that you are now missing. When you do this, you will no longer be alone and you'll be complete, all by yourself.
The only way to heal from any situation is to find the benefit in it. If you don't see the benefit, then you will keep on suppressing the hurt and the pain and then you will project that onto other relationships, thereby repeating the cycle.
Break the cycle of pain and loneliness by learning to love yourself. Then we won't need anyone else to love us and we will be able to truly love another soul, selflessly, completely and without a desire for return.
